What is already done? Diversity Team.

Diversity Team: the truth you never knew about us:

Donia: mathematic genius. She takes care of everything that includes the surveys every EP has to fill, add every column and find out the real result.

Monika: passing all the information to the EP-s, she loves to photograph and paint gifts.

Dorota: nobody knew about Dorota's secret identity: a writer. She tends to be a very good journalist even though she chose Economic University.

And the last but not least: Olga: she first says and then thinks about what she said, loves being around EPs and learning about their culture, as some of you know she has a car, but she's a typical woman behind the wheel. So if you're in a traffic jam, she might probably be causing it :) What else? Lots of stuff is going on right now... I think you've all seen how the office changed during Christmas: it's all because of the effort Diversity Team has put into decorating and creating the Christmas Spirit. Soon you will discover the previous EP-s who's pictures will be hung on the wall and some interviews with them, which I hope you'll like :) So stay tuned and seek the changes in the office!

This is how, this is how – organizations have fun!

I don’t really know what I should write about the Hollywood Party. Results exceeded our expectations and this party opened our eyes for one important fact: there is demand to integrate young people, who's enthusiasm, beliefes and actions are similar. Looking at such a large group of people who can enjoy over eight hours of common amusement was really motivating and filled me (and others) with joy.

What is the reason? Is it associated with free beer? Or with great music? Not only – the best side of events like this are always people. So thank you, guys. We know it already: integration party will be a regullar event in our callendar, so reserve some time next year in January :)

Special thanks to Joanna Lewandowska, Marek Kotiuszko (our announcers) and Konrad Leszczyński vel Dynamid Disco (DJ)
for their work.

Some pictures from the Hollywood Party you can watch in our Picasa photo album:
http://
picasaweb.google.com/wroclawue1011 (number of pictures will increase over time, If you took photos – you can add them on this site by yourself or just contact me).

We get photos from the "photo room" soon. I will let you also know about Kampus TV and
Styk TV spots.

Note from our CEEDer, Emily from new Zealand

The one thing I can say for certain is that no matter where you go, how lost you get, how foreign the country is to you, how late you may be the people at AIESEC Wroclaw UE make it feel like you’ve found your way to a safe house. It’s the people who can help make your experience perfect or a complete flop.
So first impressions of Wroclaw… well it was dark and I had just spent 8 hours on a train from Poznan, doing a detour to Inowroclaw along the way. Definitely an experience to be had as it’s a great way to see the different sceneries of Poland, but not advised if you’re not looking to waste time.
I had a weekend to relax, or rather get involved in AIESEC activities, party and do a brief tour of the town centre – a must see at Christmas time. And then a sleep in and the start to a week of pulling what knowledge I have of OGX out of my head, and at the same time a week of sharing.
In my spare time the experience I have had of Wroclaw has been mostly to do with its transport and shopping. Both very interesting when you come from such a small place as Dunedin in New Zealand where public transport is almost non-existent and shops are also limited.
All in all, I think that although I have only been in Wroclaw for a week so far, I have experienced what I can only call an AIESEC experience. I have had to immerse myself in a new culture, and a new language, I have been exposed to a different perspective and I have learnt a lot more not only about AIESEC but also myself and how I deal with certain situations. And true to the AIESEC way this was all facilitated by some amazing people.

(date of note: 20.12.10)

Thank you for your presence at the Christmas Eve and for the nice words, Emily!
